MULTIUNIT HOUSING: AFFORDABLE RENTAL AND HOME OWNERSHIP
MORTON STATION VILLAGE
RBLA Design LLC worked with the Planning Office for Urban Affairs, Inc., Caribbean Integration Community Development, Boston's Mayor’s Office on Housing (fka Department of Neighborhood Development), the Odom Family, and Redefining Our Community (ROC) members to design, permit, and develop a large vacant parcel in Mattapan. Once the location of the neighborhood's police station, this long vacant lot now features a 40-unit LEED Silver-certifiable, transit-oriented affordable rental and home ownership opportunity including a community center, and future access to the City of Boston Parks Department’s Steven P. Odom Serenity Garden.
