The Residence at Vinnin Square

This continuum of care campus located in the coastal community of Swampscott MA, consists of 84 units including a 22-unit memory care center with an enclosed garden. The 77,500 square foot building is integrated with a sloping site, maintaining edge conditions, and creating focal points of existing rock outcrops and “borrowed” landscapes. Pedestrian connections to the commercial center of the town were created while providing the privacy of a larger residential community with views of the surrounding community and adjacent Tedesco Country Club.

The plant palette was informed by the coastal location and incorporates many native and drought tolerant plants.
